Another interesting bit of commentary from Carl Bernstein, celebrity journalist and part-time god of my universe. It’s an interesting paradox, being famous for reporting. From the article:
Seated in canvas-backed director’s chairs with several other participants, Bradlee, Woodward and Bernstein got the rock-star treatment from the standing room only crowd in the ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill. A host of digital cameras shot up from the crowd as they arrived, and afterward they were surrounded by autograph seekers.
Not to say that I wouldn’t mob the pair like the screaming fangirl I am, though, and possibly get them to sign my left shoulderblade so that I could get the ink tattooed over.
